Big Backyard” @ Peter Fitzpatrick Elementary school, Pepperell: Follow 111 (W. Hollis St.) into Pepperell, MA. At roundabout take 1st exit onto Rt. 113. School is immediately on the left.

Cobbetts Park (Windham Wonderland), Windham: Rt 111 (E. Hollis Street) into Hudson. Follow to end and take a Left onto 111-East (Wally's Pizza across the street). Go 6.5 miles to traffic light. Right onto Lowell Rd @ light at the middle school. Left onto Ministerial. 1st Right onto dirt rd; fork stay Left.

Field of Dreams, 48 Geremonty Drive, Salem: Open daily dawn through dusk, from April 15 through November 15. Carry-in/Carry-out park. Take Rte 93 South to Exit 2, take the Pelham Rd. ramp towards Rte 38/Pelham/Rte 97/Salem. Turn slight right onto Pelham Road. Pelham Rd. becomes Main Street. After 1.5 miles, turn right onto Geremonty Drive.

George Muldoon Park and Nature Trail, Pelham: Rt 3 to exit 2. Take exit 2 (RT-3A)/Hudson). Bear right and head toward Lowell Rd. At light, bear left at Dracut Rd. Turn left at Sherburne Rd. Follow to the end and turn left at Mammoth Rd. Stay to the left at fork. Park is about 1.5 miles on the right.

From the south: Take Rt 3 north: Take exit 7E, keep straight onto Henry Burque Dr. Follow to end. Turn right (south) onto Concord St. Greely Park is approximately .5 miles on right and left.

Greely Park: from the north take Rt 3 south. Take exit 7E, bear right onto 101A. At light at the 99 restaurant take a left on to Henri Bourque Dr. Follow to end. Turn right (south) onto Concord St. Greely Park is approximately .5 miles on right and left.

Griffin Park, Windham: Rt 111 (E. Hollis Street) into Hudson. Follow to end and take a Left onto 111-East (Wally's Pizza across the street). Follow for 8.4 miles to the end (McDonald's on right), and take a right onto Rte 111-A. Park will be 1 mile on the left. The area where the climbing structures are is completely fenced in; there are public restrooms available.

Humphrey Park, Derry: Route 111 East to Rt. 102. Continue on 102 through Derry until you hit the traffic circle (several miles from Nashua). Take a right at the circle onto 28. Pass the school on the left and you will see Circle of Friends on the right. Take a left there (Humphrey Rd). The entrance is on the left to the playground - the entrance is a bit hidden, so be on the lookout for it. There is a NEW Splash Pad there (new as of 2008) - check it out! Concession stand and public restrooms are available.

"Kid Kove" @ Twin Bridges Park, Merrimack: Take Rt. 3 to exit 11. Take a right off the exit. At the light take a left onto DW Highway. You will pass the Shaws Plaza, the Lobster Boat, and the Mobil Gas Station. Just past the light at the Mobile Station you will see the wooden sign at the entrance of Twin Bridges Park on your right. Kids Kove Playground is down the hill on the right, behind the baseball field.

Livingston Park, 352 Hookset Road, Manchester: Take Rte 93 North to Exit 9S. Park will be 1 mile on the right. Lots of climbing structures and nature trails, picnic tables, public restroom available at the pool area (pool is only for Manchester residents).

Mines Fall Park:

  1. Mill Pond — This entrance provides access to the Mill Pond and the canal for canoes and small boats, and entry to the Mine Falls trail network east and west. Parking is available in the adjacent commuter lot.
  2. Stellos Stadium — This westernmost park entrance includes a boat launch for access to the Nashua River above the dam. It is also the nearest entrance to the 1886 historic Gatehouse. The entrance is through the stadium access road.
  3. Lincoln Park — Located at the south end of Coliseum Avenue, Lincoln Park offers tennis courts, ball fields, and easy access to the Mine Falls trail network via the Nashua River footbridge. This is the only access north of the river.
  4. Nashua High School South — A paved trail enters the park from the back of the school parking lot along the canal.
  5. Whipple Street — This entrance accesses the trails along the Nashua River, canal, soccer, and softball fields, and is located at the midpoint of the paved trail system.
  6. North 7th Street — Located in a residential area near the Boys and Girls Club on Perry Avenue, this entrance gives access to the canal and trails in the park from the eastern side.
  7. Pine Street (Millyard) — This entrance is at the eastern end of the original Spine Road, which was used by the Nashua Manufacturing Company to maintain the power canal system.

Nashua River Rail Trail: Take exit 5W to Rte 111A/main Dunstable Road. Take 111A/MainDunstable south past the Dunkin Donuts, 7-11 and Shell gas station on your left. Continue straight. Go past the Conant Fire station for 3.2 miles. Veer left onto West Groton Road and go .2 miles. You will see a parking lot and the trailhead on your right.

Roby Park: Route 3 to exit 1. Head west on Spit Brook Road (away from DW highway). Roby Park is approximately 1 mile on the left.

Sargent Ave: behind Holman Stadium: From the south take exit 6. At the end of the ramp go right (east) on Broad Street (Rt. 130). Broad Street ends at Amherst Street. Continue straight (east) onto Amherst St and take your 2nd left onto Sargent Ave. (Amherst St. elementary school is on the cornier). Go past the school and tennis courts.

Timber Town: Bedford: Take Rt 3 north. Take exit for 101 Milford/Bedford. Follow Rt. 101/114 towards Milford/Bedford. Take left off exit. Follow to the blinking light. Take a left at junction of 101 and Rt 114 on Nashua rd. Take a left onto County Rd. Look for Riley field park is on the left.

Wasserman Park, Merrimack: From the South: Take the F.E. Everett to Exit 11. Turn left, you will see Burger King ahead on your right. Turn right onto Amherst Road at the traffic light, passing Burger King on your left and D’Angelos on your right. Stay on Amherst Road approximately 2.5 miles. Turn left onto Naticook Road. (If you pass Meetinghouse Road on your right, you went too far.) Stay on Naticook Road approximately 2.5 miles; Wasserman Park will be on your left. As you enter the park, parking lots are to your left, and to your right.
